Carbon dioxide (CO₂) is a colorless gas with a density about 1.5 times higher than that of dry air. Within this system, CO₂ is stored  in its liquid form. And also due to having a temperature lowering effect, its extinguishing’s capabilities are further enhanced, especially in localized fires, where the CO₂ can be sprayed directly into the fire. CO₂ due to having a low boiling point, it vaporizes very easily, meaning it can quickly spread throughout the area and reach hard to reach places. This CO₂  system uses large-diameter nozzles, increasing the output. The fast-acting nature of this system makes it extremely effective in putting out fires when compared  to other extinguishing system.
